The Activelifestyle Travel Network
is a 126 domain Internet Travel Network that specializes in
destination information for the consumer and solutions for
the travel trade. The names are Activelifestyle's biggest
asset. Our relatively early entry (1995) to the world wide
web allowed us the opportunity to choose the best names on
our niche. Because they perfectly describe the content found
within and because they are aimed at and directly hit specific
and unique segments of the travel industry, they have been
very successful in attracting visitors and advertisers.
Our original content consists of a huge amount of destination
information that includes maps, slide shows, original stories,
hotels, tours, interactive chat rooms and pricing. In fact
it is designed to and delivers, every bit of information needed
to make it easier for the travel to make a decision for his/her
next vacation or business trip.
Our trade solutions consist of the Activelifestyle-developed
reservations and management application, ManagEasy, and its
secure, credit card email extension. Both applications are
aimed at the millions of hotels that are using simple e-mails
and unsecured forms to process reservation requests.
In addition we have also developed a point-to-point airline
ticketing application called EasyAirTicket. The later makes
it simple for airlines and tour operators combing air tickets
with land arrangements, to offer and sell these arrangements
to the consumer. Security and ease of use are the bywords
on all Activelifestyle developed applications.
We offer a full selection of services and solutions that
are sold to the travel trade that will help them promote to
the traveling public. Any hotel or travel supplier buying
these applications will get the added and valuable benefit
of access and exposure to the targeted Activelifestyle viewers.
Activelifestyle History
What is today Activelifestyle started life in 1978 as Euro
Ski Magazine. We published Euro Ski as an annual publication
for English speaking skiers living and working in Europe.
About 3 years later we launched Golf Travel Magazine and about
5 years later, Travel and Style Thailand, a monthly free newspaper
for visitors to Thailand.
In 1995 we heard about the Internet and decided to give it
a try. To put all of the titles under "one roof"
so to speak, we chose the name Activelifestyle as an indicator
of our content subjects. We are proud of the result.
Today we have our production offices in Bangkok, Thailand.
A company, The Activelifestyle Mall Corporation, USA that
was set up to get merchant banking and credit card acceptance
facilities, and our Bermuda based Activelifestyle Travel Network.
It is here that earnings are banked.
Activelifestyle Sales and Marketing
We are also in the early stages of forming an International
telephone sales organization based in our Bangkok offices. This
presently stands at 10 people with more being added weekly.
The goal is to make the company highly sales and market driven.
We believe that we have the names, the products and the audience.
Now we are ready to sell. In fact since the start of our local
sales force we have increased Thailand related sales by more
than 25% per month.
We intend to renew our exhibiting presence at major and even
some less prominent International trade shows. We feel this
gives us the best chance of introducing the various Activelifestyle
Travel Suites to potential travel industry partners.
Activelifestyle Management
